Whenever you have a question, AskNow is ready to help you find the answer.
Have you ever needed to find out the answer to a question but didn't want to deal with the hassle of going to the library? Did you know you don't have to?
San Jose Public Library offers you 24/7 research assistance called AskNow. Any time you have a question, we are there for you. All you do is log on and then chat with a librarian (at 2am, at 6am, when the library is closed, etc).
How do I know? I am one of the librarians who works in virtual reference and if you log in on Friday afternoons I may even be the librarian who helps you!
So if you need help with an assignment that is due right away, if you need help locating a recipe in a back-issue of a magazine, if you are having a debate with a friend and want to find the answer--go to this page: http://www.asknow.org/portal.cfm?lib=SANJOSE
Then find out how easy it is to get the quality answers you need from the comfort of your home or office or school. Please try it out and post comments about your experiences!
